| Comment: | ctRO is an open access journal publishing research in clinical and translational radiation oncology. Furthering ESTRO’s mission to foster the role of radiation oncology to improve the care of patients with cancer, the journal offers the radiation oncology community a rapid route for the publication of original research, reviews, short communications and correspondence which cover all aspects of experimental radiobiology, clinical interventions and treatments. The Editors-in-Chief of ctRO, Pierre Blanchard (France) and Daniel Zips (Germany), ensure that all manuscripts are peer-reviewed rigorously and rapidly, with the assistance of an internationally respected Editorial Board. ctRO is an open access journal. Upon acceptance of a paper, the authors will be asked to meet the cost of publication through an article publication fee. The paper will be published open access following payment of the fee.
